Crypto payments for creators: delivery, memberships, and renewals
Design the path from a confirmed creator payment to the promised download, course, community access, or tip receipt.

Decide what the payment buys
A tip, a downloadable product, a course, and a recurring membership need different fulfillment rules. Write down the promised item, when it will be delivered, and how the buyer requests help. A successful payment is only part of completing the purchase.
If you use Kartra, Systeme.io, Ko-fi, Teachable, Thinkific, Podia, Patreon, Substack, or another creator platform, check its current external-payment rules and delivery options. This guide describes the operating decisions for a custom flow; it does not claim that XRPay replaces those platforms or supplies native connectors for all of them.
Choose between manual fulfillment and automation
A payment link can work for a small number of sales if someone reviews confirmed payments and delivers the purchase. Assign that responsibility and record the customer, product, payment reference, and delivery status together.
For automated fulfillment, use the documented API and authenticated payment events to connect the confirmed payment with the intended product. Your delivery system should record whether it granted access or sent the download so support can recover a missing delivery without creating another charge.
Match the purchase before granting access
Use a stable order or customer reference to associate the payment with the right product and account. Verify the expected amount and currency as well as confirmation status. A wallet screenshot or a customer returning from checkout is not sufficient evidence of a completed purchase.
Keep fulfillment safe to repeat when webhook deliveries are retried. If an enrollment or file-delivery operation fails after payment, retry delivery and tell the customer how to contact support. Do not direct them to pay again for the same purchase.
Set clear membership renewal rules
Explain whether the purchase grants lifetime access, access for a fixed period, or a subscription requiring another payment. A one-time checkout should not be presented as an automatically collected renewal.
For recurring access, define renewal reminders, the due date, any grace period, and what happens after an unpaid invoice. Keep the membership period separate from the timestamp of a webhook so delayed or repeated notifications do not accidentally extend access.
Keep costs and payouts understandable
Review the current XRPay pricing and the costs of any creator platform, conversion, or payout provider involved in your flow. Replacing a payment step does not automatically remove a platform’s fees or membership terms.
Confirm the asset the business receives and any separate requirements for bank withdrawal. Payment confirmation, conversion completion, and a credited bank payout are distinct stages. Give the customer a receipt for the purchase, and keep payout reconciliation in your own business records.
Launch one product and test customer support
Use a small pilot to test payment, delivery, a missing receipt, an expired checkout, duplicate notification, cancellation, and refund. Confirm that the delivery instructions work on the devices your audience uses.
Before expanding, give support staff a way to locate the original purchase, restore permitted access, and record a refund decision. For tips, explain whether any product or access is included. Clear promises and recoverable delivery matter more than repeating claims about instant settlement.
